KĀNAKA MOVEMENT
PEOPLE   AINA   CULTURE

The Kānaka Movement represents a better and brighter way of thinking and doing things. The Kānaka Movement is not a political party, however, we do promote political activism. We promote a holistic, people, aina, culture centric ideology called SociAloha. Where decisions are made with aloha, predicated on what is in the best interest of the people and environment while being culturally competent. Where progress, growth and success, are measured by the health and happiness of the people and the viability and sustainability of the environment, and not simply on economic gain or development

The Kānaka Movement is about being inclusive, unity, and caring for the people and the environment and all creatures in it. We promote government accountability and transparency, hoʻoponopono (making right what is wrong) regarding the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi in 1893, and we recognize ke Akua (the divine).

The Kānaka Movement is committed to effectuate needed change for current and future generations through political activism with Respect, Peace, and Aloha.
